Come Join the Coppermine XC Festival

Introduction: Sunday 27 September 2026 is the day the Coppermine Festival opens its arms to the entire mountain biking community. Based at the Maitai Recreation Hub, Festival Sunday is specifically designed for families, first-timers, riders who want accessible, supportive racing experiences and XCO racers.

Kids Race - Short, fun loops on safe trails with plenty of encouragement. Age group categories to be confirmed.

Beginner XC (~10km) - Perfect first mountain bike race. Well-marked course, supportive atmosphere, achievable distance for new riders.

Intermediate XC (~15km) - For weekend warriors ready to test fitness and skills on flowing singletrack.

Advanced XC (~20km) - Competitive cross-country racing in a festival atmosphere.
